Shadow of my life!

Like any other student I travelled in the local bus everyday to reach college. Indian public has habit of piercing through your eyes and see what is going on in your mind. You will see people trying to figure out your thoughts and then initiating a conversation without any topic. It’s has been my nature to avoid eye contact in public transport. I never ever look around, as its better to avoid those bodies, their different shapes, sizes, smells and pushy eyes in public. Passenger’s keep changing every day and so is the smell and eyes.
It must be 5 years since the routine started. Started a job immediately after college and got almost settled. Recently my family got a proposal and I was sitting in the drawing room of a middle class house waiting for the girl to appear. I saw the girl, found her most beautiful, but amazed as to why she is saying yes to me. Just to inform you, I am a big size, shy; introvert a little bit intelligent guy with no big dreams. Thought that I am lucky so was mentally prepared to say yes for marriage. As usual parents left me in the room for final conversation with girl. I was shy again to say a word or give eye contact but after few moments she was just furious on me. It was beyond my imagination to think that I could be someone’s point of attraction or distraction that too in my daily journey of local bus. I never ever bothered to see that every day I was boarding and de-boarding the bus with one of the most beautiful girls of college. I was totally ignorant that lady who was sitting now in front of me had walked behind me every day for 5 years. How can I believe that in those 5 years I was a big protector of her from being proposed by any hero of the college? All scared of my introvert nature and heavy size body. Secondly all of her friends still think that I am her boyfriend for 5 years so she should marry me. For last 2 days I am in a state of shock. Still to re visualize the whole story and thinking about my no brain activity or my luck which brought me to her. Frankly even if I had seen her properly in those years, at best I could have thought that someone is trying to avoid the sun burn under the shadow of my heavy size body.
